im a rifle hunter, … im a rifle hunter, deer n elk both. taking 800 yard shots (even though it went down) is disgraceful to the game we hunt. 400 yards is a long shot and if you cant get closer than that u shouldnt hunt. they say that they cant get to the elk cuz of the terrain but they had 2 get it out of there. these guys suck

There's no stalking, tracking, or any chance of the animal to attempt to survive. This is the most dishonorable form of hunting.

The only reason i can come up with for you shooting that far is you must stink like shit, grow some nuts and hunt like a man with a bow.
